An apparent drunk driver met with a surprise end to his journey in Pamplona this weekend, by delivering himself to the police station.

The driver accidentally drove into the police station vehicle entrance, thinking it was a public multistory car park. Officers in the car park approached the alien vehicle to ascertain why it was in their private area.

The officers detected signs of alcohol use as the driver smelt like he had been drinking. They asked the driver to perform a breathalyser test, but he refused, thus automatically rendering himself under arrest, where the officers then discovered he was driving without a licence as it had been previously withdrawn.
