A woman was detained by the police in Murcia after she registered a breathalyser reading which reported that she was six times over the maximum permitted limit.

The incident occurred on Wednesday on avenida Mariano Rojas. The officers first became suspicious when the driver reversed her car into one of the police motorbikes which was parked behind.

The officers conducted a breathalyser test which revealed the driver to be six times over the limit and so she was arrested on suspicion of a crime against road safety.
