A 28-year-old resident of Zumárraga, Navarro, has been charged with a crime against road safety after being recorded when driving at 219 kilometres per hour on the AP68 Navarrese motorway.

The driver was stopped by a patrol of the Foral Police at the toll of Imárcoain, where the vehicle had covered a 95 kilometer stretch between Ablitas and Imárcoain in just 32 minutes, thus averaging 180 kilometres per hour and having to stop at two toll sections to pay by card, according to the Police.
