A young male and his father have both been arrested in La Rioja, after the boy was videoed by his dad as he drove a car at 160 kilometres per hour.

The footage was recorded by the father on a mobile phone, later to be posted on social media.

The incident took place on the A-68 after the father had collected the youth from a juvenile centre, where he had been released on permit.

Upon returning to the centre, the boy boasted about his exploits to the staff, who in turn reported the incident to the police, who arrested both as suspects of crimes against road safety.
