Before the summer we reported on a network of opticians who were offering free eye tests specifically aimed at drivers. Now, thanks to their collaboration with N332, we are pleased to tell you that Clinica La Siesta in has extended the campaign, and will offer checkups at the clinic in Torrevieja.
From the results of a recent survey, it was revealed that more than two million drivers recognise that they have vision problems, and despite that, “two out of three drivers consider that their vision affects their road safety”.
The study highlights that most drivers recognise that their vision has worsened in recent years, and they notice it especially at night (30%), and when it comes to clearly seeing road signs (17%)
The test, specifically created for drivers, differs from the prescription test as it looks for the most typical problems that cause issues for drivers.
