N332 Goes Back to School

For our final presentation of the season, members of N332 visited the Phoenix International School in San Miguel de Salinas to give a road safety presentation to the students attending the school.

The team gave three presentations to three aged divided groups, with the younger pupils covering everything from the basics of crossing the road safely, wearing a seatbelt, riding a bike safely, and even having fun with new road safety campaigns, such as how to discourage grownups from using a mobile phone whilst driving. Meanwhile, the older attendees were given more in-depth information about the laws relating to traffic and safety, including scooters, riding bikes and their obligations under the law.

This is the last presentation before the busy summer season starts, but we have already secured a number of presentations in the autumn. If you are a local community-based group of 60 or more people and would like us to visit you, we have some timeslots available, email news@n332.es and we will see when we can arrange to visit your group and give a talk after the summer.
