Two Fatalities on the Roads this Weekend

Two people have lost their lives and eleven people have been injured in two major traffic incidents on the roads of Spain, in the provisional count by the DGT between 15:00 on Friday and 20:00 on Sunday.

The first incident occurred on Saturday afternoon on the BI-633, in the Berriz area when a young male, aged 29, was killed after his car left the road and crashed into a house, before bursting into flames.

The second incident occurred at 03:30 on Sunday morning, at kilometre 63 of the A-381 in Alcala de los Gazules, Cádiz. A bus carrying Gibraltar fans returning from the Portuguese town of Faro after watching a football match collided with a van, resulting in one person being killed and eleven injured.

Three people were injured in Valencia in two incidents on the roads. In the first, a vehicle rolled over on the approach to a roundabout, and in the second, two cars collided.
