Vehicle Registration Document

In 2015, the DGT Traffic Department started to issue a new Vehicle Registration Document (log book) which showed when the ITV (Mot) of your car expires, and the genuine kilometres.

The Vehicle Registration Document (Permiso de Circulacion) is the equivelent to the car’s log book.

The Traffic Office will get this information directly from the ITV stations so when you buy a car you will get all this information.

Remember you do not have to renew the Registration Document the next time you go to the ITV station, this is only of information for the buyer.

The Vehicle Registration Document is one of the documents you must carry in your vehicle, along with the ITV Card, and the ITV inspection report.
