As the first major batch of tourists are arriving in Spain, coinciding with the Easter holidays, the Guardia Civil is promoting their information leaflet designed to offer helpful advice to visitors to the country.
Available in multiple languages, the leaflet offers the usual advice for staying safe, and avoiding opportunistic crimes, for which tourists sometimes find themselves victims.
It is far too easy when on holiday to let down one’s guard and sometimes not even conduct the most basic of safety procedures that we practice in our own homes, and so the leaflet is designed to remind us of those.
