A driver who was traveling the wrong way on the A-92 motorway crashed into two Guardia Civil patrol cars who had stopped their vehicles to prevent a bigger tragedy.
The incident occurred on Saturday morning on the Almería to Fiñana road in the Guadix area.
The officers blocked the road to try to bring the vehicle to a halt and check the driver, who rammed their two patrol cars and attempted to flee the scene, but crashed by the roadside after ramming the patrol.
The driver was taken to the hospital in Guadix, where he will be dealt with for the offences.
