A pedestrian was killed on Wednesday night whilst walking along the CV-865 which connects Elche and Santa Pola.
The incident occurred at around half past midnight, at kilometer 3,150 of the road, in the direction of Elche.
The vehicle involved was a passenger car and an investigation has begun to ascertain the cause of the incident.
