The Municipal Police of Pamplona have caught a drugged-up driver who was travelling at 128 kilometres per hour on a road where the maximum permitted limit was 50.
The incident occurred on Wednesday night at 9:00 pm, when a mobile radar was set up on Avenida de Pío XII, at the junction with the Vuelta del Castillo.
Once intercepted, the driver, a young man of 22 years of age, was subjected to a drugs test, which proved positive.
On account of the seriousness of the offences, the driver has been reported for a crime against road safety for which he must appear before the courts.
