Emergency services are in attendance on Wednesday after noon to a vehicle collision on the A7 motorway near Elche.
According to witnesses, the truck crossed over the central reservation and collided with the cars, then bursting into flames.
The first car was carrying a man and a women and the man was killed. The second car was carrying two women who were both killed.
The incident occurred on the A-7 motorway near the Elche-Aspe junctions at kilometre 518 at around 13:30 on Wednesday.
