On this day, the special Easter 2025 operation will begin at 3:00 p.m. with the first Operation EXIT, which includes long-distance travel due to the start of the Easter holiday period, along with short-distance travel due to the start of the weekend.
Exits from large urban centres, access to coastal tourist areas, and second homes will be problematic.
On this day, traffic management and regulation measures will be implemented in the afternoon to facilitate vehicle exit from major urban centres.

The heavy traffic from the previous day’s outflow from major urban centres will continue this morning, with more traffic heading to recreational and leisure areas near urban centres.

At midnight, the first phase of the Special Operation EASTER – 2025 will conclude, with the return of those who enjoyed the weekend.
There will be traffic jams in the afternoon and evening at the entrances to major urban centres, but they will be less severe than the return traffic on previous Sundays.
On this day, traffic management and regulation measures will be implemented in the afternoon to facilitate vehicle entry into major urban centres.

On this day, in all autonomous communities except Catalonia and the Valencian Community, the 2nd PHASE of the Special Operation EASTER – 2025 begins, the most important in terms of volume and vehicle movements along the entire road network. Therefore, starting at midday, traffic problems and traffic jams will occur at the exits and entrances to major urban centres, both inland and on the outskirts and coast. These will become more pronounced as the afternoon progresses, before reaching the destination areas by late evening.
Throughout the afternoon and evening, traffic management and regulation measures will be implemented on the busiest roads to facilitate the exit of vehicles from large urban centres.

In the autonomous communities except Catalonia and the Valencian Community, the exodus will continue from early morning, with high traffic volumes causing traffic jams at the entrances to major urban centres.
On this day, traffic management and regulation measures will be in place throughout the morning to facilitate the exit of vehicles from major urban centres.
The unfavourable time slot for this day will be from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On this same day, in the early afternoon, the second phase of Operation Easter 2025 begins in Catalonia and the Valencian Community. Traffic problems are expected in these communities mainly on roads leading to the coast, those connecting coastal towns, as well as on roads leading to tourist rest areas.
The unfavourable time slot for this day will be from 12 noon to 11 p.m.

In Catalonia and the Valencian Community, vehicle movements will continue this morning, as they did the previous afternoon, outbound from major cities, causing heavy traffic with traffic jams.
In the rest of the Autonomous Communities, during the morning of this holiday, traffic intensities will be observed leaving major urban centres on short journeys to leisure and recreational areas near urban centres.

In the afternoon, across the country, there will be movements of short-haul and local vehicles toward towns where religious events are taking place.

The first RETURN of Operation “Holy Week – 2025” begins today. Traffic problems and hold-ups are expected at destination locations or areas starting mid-morning due to the start of the return journey. Traffic problems will begin on the main roadways that channel all Easter return traffic in the early afternoon. The most severe traffic problems are those on the general-interest network, motorways and dual carriageways, as well as access roads to coastal areas. These problems will extend to access points to major urban centres late in the afternoon.
On this day, traffic management and regulation measures will be in place throughout the day to facilitate vehicle entry into major urban centres.
The Autonomous Communities affected by the return on this day are: Andalusia, Aragon, Asturias, the Canary Islands, Cantabria, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León, Extremadura, Galicia, the Balearic Islands, Madrid, and Murcia.

On this day, the RETURN begins in the Autonomous Communities where Monday is a holiday: Catalonia, the Valencian Community, Navarre, the Basque Country, and La Rioja. Traffic problems will occur on the main roads in these Communities, as well as on access roads to the provinces bordering them. Vehicles will return within a similar period to the previous day in the rest of the Autonomous Communities.
In these communities, traffic management and regulation measures will be implemented throughout the day to facilitate vehicle entry into large urban centres.
In the rest of the Autonomous Communities, there will also be return movements, motivated mainly by the start of school and university activities the following day.
The unfavourable time slot for this day will be from 11 a.m. to midnight.
