Visitors to Expo Torrevieja this weekend are in for a treat as Trafford, the N332 road safety raccoon, and his friends make their official launch with a family-friendly Treasure Hunt at the N332 stand.
The activity is designed to keep youngsters entertained while encouraging grown-ups to explore the exhibition. Each child needs a Trafford Treasure Map, available at The Leader website, as well as N332.es, and, with help from their accompanying grown-up, follow the clues to find Trafford’s friends around the Expo. After collecting five or more stamps, completed maps can be returned to the N332 stand before midday to enter the daily prize draw.
Every participant will receive a Trafford gift, such as a badge or sticker, while one lucky child will win Trafford’s Goodie Bag — a bright yellow N332 backpack packed with surprises, including a Colour with Trafford colouring book, available on Amazon, crayons, and a Trafford hat. Their accompanying grown-up will also receive a matching prize, featuring a Trafford and Friends mug and the first N332 Book, as well as other exclusive N332 goodies.
The Treasure Hunt takes place on both Saturday and Sunday between 10:00 and 12:00, with the winners announced live on Big Radio Spain just after the 12:00 news each day.
Project creator Mark Nolan said, “The Treasure Hunt is a fun way to bring Trafford’s safety world to life and to reward the families who come to support the event. It’s about learning, smiling, and spending time together — and that’s exactly what Trafford and Friends stands for.”
