A vehicle transporter carrying a variety of different cars crashed on the AP-7 motorway near La Zenia on the Orihuela Costa on Sunday, blocking both lanes of the carriageway.
The driver received medical attention at the scene but was not seriously injured.
The Alicante to Cartagena motorway had to be closed in the Alicante direction as a result of the crash, with vehicles being diverted away from the toll road and into the N-332 main coastal road.
