Eight people have lost their lives on the roads of Spain this weekend, in the provisional balance from the DGT between 15:00 on Friday and 20:00 on Sunday.
Friday was the worst day of the weekend when five people were killed, including two pensioners who were knocked down in the Cantabrian town of Liérganes. A third pensioner was injured in the same incident.
Saturday saw the remaining three people lose their lives, whereas there were no fatalities registered on Sunday.
