Offence: Failing to Give Way. Failing to give way to another vehicle when that vehicle has priority and forcing them to brake or manoeuvre sharply will result in a fine and the loss of points. Fine: 200 euro and the loss of 4 points Reason: Junctions are very dangerous places. Vehicles which have priority and are already moving mix with other vehicles which try to join the flow but at generally lower speeds.
