An officer from the Guardia Civil traffic department was injured on Sunday when he was involved in a collision on the N-332 main road at Punta Prima, Torrevieja.
The officer was waiting to emerge onto the roundabout when a car crashed into the back of his motorcycle.
Luckily, the officer was not seriously injured in the crash but was taken by ambulance to hospital as a precautionary measure.
