Introducing the N332 Travel Clock

We have got a special gift for you, and, it is FREE! We are calling it the N332 Travel Clock, which is an app that you can install on pretty much any device, Android or Apple phones or tablets, Android TV, Windows computers, Chromebook, etc, and what it does is deliver up to date information on the road and travel situation directly to you.

It is available in the Google Play Store, and Microsoft Store, and on a web interface where you can browse or intall it directly on your devices. When you get there, just look at the install option, which could be at the top or the bottom, depending on your device.

Remember, it is completely FREE!

SO, the next obvious question is, what is N332 Travel Clock? Well, in the most basic form, it is a clock, with travel information.

Before you rush away to install it, I have to tell you that this is the first version, Version 1, and is currently only directly covering the Costa Blanca area, although it does also give general daily travel bulletins for the whole of Spain, and flights from around Europe to here.

So, you do not have to be in the area, because that too is the point, it is about this area, but if you are flying in from anywhere in Europe, or planning a visit, or just have an interest in the area, then it is also for you too.

It is locked onto Spanish time, so no matter where you are in the world, you will always know what time it is here, so you don´t have to wake people in the middle of the night when you want to speak to them.

The background features a slideshow of important information and driving tips from N332, some, like the new laws, with a QR code so you can scan and go straight to the information.

We have the live weather for both Alicante and Murcia (Corvera) airports, we have aircraft on their descent into Alicante. There is a 3-day weather forecast for the area, and official average fuel prices from the Spanish Government.

I should mention that on smaller mobile screens, some of these cards hide, otherwise you would need to be as close as an ant to read them! But the important information is retained.

Near the bottom, there is a button bar. You can listen to the radio, which is not crammed with unnecessary chatter and noise, it is mostly music published by our production partners, Mad Black Cat, as well as useful information, and the news, travel updates, and podcasts.

Talking of news, and travel updates, if you don´t want to wait for them to cycle on the radio, then you just press the next two buttons, anytime you like, and you can hear the daily news from This is Torrevieja, which doesn´t just cover Torrevieja but the whole area, or travel update, which features the flight situation across Europe, the road conditions, and an overview of the driving weather forcast, available at your convenience.

We also have a link to our YouTube channel, and a sleep button, which turns off the view to leave just a clock (you may need to adjust your mobile and tablet settings if you want to use it as a nightstand, as some devices automatically prevent this function to protect your battery, Samsung, for example).

Then, at the very bottom, we have a little ticker which brings important information, including live traffic alerts from the DGT, including the locations of incidents, and even where V-16 emergency lights have been activated in the area, as well as a brief overview of the European flight situation for the day, roads forecast, other notices, latest N332 articles, and the latest news from our partners, This is Torrevieja. Many of the articles are also clickable, so you just press and they pop up on the screen, or your browser.
